IT IS WHAT IT IS
Mistake-ism
Mistake is FREEdom
IT IS WHAT IT IS
Mistake is freedom.
Mistake allows us to accept our creative freedom, to rejoice in our humanness.
WE DO NOT LOOK.
WE DO NOT THINK.
WE DO NOT FEAR.
To make mistakes on purpose to escape perfection.

These words lead us to creation.
We make rules to escape from rules.
We like contradictions.
This is the game
Every time we hear or see these words, we take our cameras and without looking we take a picture.
Not knowing what can happen,
Playing with the unexpected.
WE DO NOT LOOK.
WE DO NOT THINK.
We do not fear about the mistake, the error, the expectation, the failure.
IT IS WHAT IT IS.
We free ourselves from the technical quality, “the correct way” and open ourselves up to mistakes. Every eleventh image on each roll, it will be printed correctly, and the following will be printed with the same settings as the last. No borders will be used. There is no selection, all photographs need to exist.
WE DO NOT LOOK.
WE DO NOT THINK.
WE DO NOT FEAR.
IT IS WHAT IT IS.
We encounter failure as a playful activity, almost childlike; allowing us to feel free again. Playing with the unexpected. We do not have an aim, or an expectation but we are aware that this is not true for an expectation will always exist. We like contradictions.

Along this process, we have realised there are different kind of mistakes that occur;
`The Lost and Slow Mistake´ - you think you are doing things correctly, but something along the line happens and you are unsure as to why there is an error. Instant Mistake´- you know in that moment you have made a mistake. ´Not Knowing Mistake´- unaware that you are making a mistake because you do not know the correct way to do it.
