This large-scale unique piece is part of The Trail of Touch, an artistic and photographic project grounded in academic and practical research on the concept of tactile nostalgia. The work explores the haptic through the technique of liquid emulsion.

Also known as liquid light, liquid emulsion is a gelatin silver light-sensitive photographic emulsion used in alternative printing processes. It can be applied to any surface, exposed by an enlarger, and processed in conventional darkroom chemistry.

This silver print emulsion on fabric is hand-brushed, one-of-a-kind, and meant to be felt as much as seen. No digital intervention. No editions.
