This one-of-a-kind A6 Tactile PhotoBook belongs to The Trail of Touch, an ongoing artistic and photographic project exploring the concept of tactile nostalgia—how memory lives within touch, materiality, and physical interaction.

Each page of the photobook is created using hand-applied liquid emulsion, a silver gelatin technique that merges photography with the expressive qualities of brushwork. The emulsion is painted directly onto the pages, allowing the images to appear through visible gesture marks, subtle textures, and organic variations that cannot be replicated.

Because the process is entirely manual, every photobook is unique—a singular object shaped by the movements of the artist’s hand and the unpredictable beauty of the emulsion itself. The book becomes both an artwork and an experience: intimate, tactile, and rooted in the physicality of photographic craft.
